We have created a classified section (See “Music Classifieds” in left column of website under “Music Genres”) and a Social Network section where anyone in the music industry can post free ads, create forums, groups, blogs etc in order to connect, liaise and communicate with artists, music producers and record labels. This is what makes Brand New Music Releases such a unique service and so very different from other music services that may appear similar at first glance.
Having made all the above points let us now cover the FREE features that we provide for our primary users i.e. artists, music producers and record labels…….
Upload Up To 20 Songs For Free: Free Members can upload up to 20 songs. These tracks can either be singles, EP’s or an album.
Post 1 Free Ad In Any 1 Classified Category: Free Members can post 1 free ad in any of the “Music Classified” categories. So if you’re looking for a Manager, Promotion Company, New Band Member, Promoting a Forthcoming Gig etc, etc this is the place to quickly find the appropriate person or company.
Artists, Bands, Music Producers & Record Labels: Members will create their profiles on our website and they will then tag their profile to the albums or tracks they sell.
Music Genres: All music genres are welcomed! As long as you’re creating new music of a high quality that is all we are concerned with. You may upload music into any particular genre. This will assist and help buyers who search for music by specific genres and even sub-genres within a main music genre.
Earnings And Commissions: We pay all members (Whether Free or PRO Member) 90% of sales via PayPal or cheque. Commissions are paid at the end of every month for the previous months sales.
Audio Albums and Tracks: Music sellers can put their audio albums and tracks on sale for music fans globally via our platform. These albums and tracks will be quickly approved by the administrators before they are made available to the public.
Video Albums and Tracks: Video is very important and we urge all artists (Where it is financially possible) to make a video for every release. Sellers can post their video albums for sale and can upload any number of tracks into an album.
Audio Video Demo: Along with each track and album the sellers (i.e. artists, producers, labels etc) may upload a sample demo which can help the buyers (i.e. users and fans) to choose an album or track before they confirm their purchase.
Live Audio/Video Streaming: Audio track demos uploaded in MP3 format and video tracks in flash FLV format can be viewed in a live stream player.
Artist Fan Clubs: This feature will add a fans community network feature to our Brand New Music Releases portal. Fans will be able to join any artist’s fan club that they prefer. Each fan club will have a discussion board where members and fans can post their comments and communicate between each other.
Music Search: There will be advanced music search options with multiple filters like name, type, sub-genre and country which will help users to find the exact track or albums they are looking for.
Mobile Phone/PDA Mode: Our new smart phone technology will enable fans to easily load the Brand New Music Releases.com website onto their mobile phone or PDA device using our new mobile interface. By using the ‘mobile browse’ feature; with just one click our website will be mobile phone compatible. All other features like search, browse, download etc will also be available in mobile mode. Abuse Reports: We intend to keep our new music portal safe and clean. Members, users or fans will be able to report any abusive content that they find which is deemed inappropriate for our new music portal. We intend to keep the standards of new music high whilst at the same time allowing freedom of expression as that is what great music has always been about.
Purchase Album Tracks Individually: Fans will be able to purchase a complete album or they can select the tracks they want to purchase. Sellers can specify the individual track price and the total album price.
Free Music Section: Members (Sellers) may wish to giveaway some tracks for promotional purposes. Members will therefore be able to list tracks for free download i.e. for zero dollar purchase. Brand New Music Releases.com will have a special designated area from where users can download free tracks.
Free Promotional Tips Via Email: We will provide music promotion tips every week via email for free members. The key to success in the music business is in knowing how to bring your music to the attention of targeted music fans. We will show you multiple ways of promoting your music and driving traffic to your Brand New Music Releases.com pages in order to generate sales. All the promotional strategies we will teach you will be Internet based and FREE!
Automated PayPal Payments: Secure and automated payments by fans using PayPal or credit card will make your fans and users more comfortable to use the Brand New Music Releases.com website. NOTE: If the tracks that a free member uploads have not generated much in the way of sales during a 3 month period then the tracks will be deleted from our servers after 3 months to make room and space on our servers for music from other free members.
